Initial Consultation
Please allow for minimum of one hour for your time in the Clinic. Your cosmetic surgery consultation is approximately 40 minutes in duration (10 minutes with Dr Tavakoli's Assistant and 30 minutes with Dr Tavakoli). It is encouraged to concentrate on one procedure during that time but second procedure can be briefly discussed. For third procedure a separate appointment is usually required. Dr Tavakoli is a specialist and sometimes the rooms will be running little late and your understanding is greatly appreciated.
During the consultation all aspects of the procedure will be discussed. Basic knowledge of your desired procedure before attendance helps you to get the most out of your consultation. Please bring a list of questions and visual aides such as old photographs and Before/After images that you like.
At the completion of the consultation you will be given a quotation of fees by the Practice Manager. If you are in a Private Health Fund please bring along details for the Practice Manager so she can check on your eligibility. Please note quoted prices are valid for 3 months.

Consultation Fee and Cancellation Policy
Dr Tavakoli's time is just as valuable as yours and we do our utmost to respect your time. The consultation fee to see Dr Tavakoli is $200. There is a strict $100 deposit to secure an appointment with Dr Tavakoli at the time of your booking over the phone. Due to our commitment to providing the best possible experience for our clients we require a minimum of 3 working days notice to reschedule or cancel appointments; such that there is a $100 cancellation fee for missed appointments.
Please note that GP referral is necessary for certain procedures with rebatable medicare item numbers. This allows you to receive a small refund from medicare on your consultation fee. Also if you suffer from any medical condition GP letter is mandatory.General Etiquette
In consideration of other patients and clients, we ask that you either switch off mobiles or set them to a silent mode. Children are welcomed but it is important that they are supervised at all times whilst in the practice, especially during in the consultation room with Dr Tavakoli.

Changes to the regulations governing the use of before and after photographs on websites were introduced in NSW on July 1, 2008. These regulations can be viewed on the NSW Health Department website.
