Breast Lift Surgery: How Much Does Mastopexy Cost?

Achieve tighter and firmer breasts with expert breast lift surgery from Dr Tavakoli

Each year in Australia, thousands of women decide to have mastopexy surgery. More commonly referred to as breast lift surgery, mastopexy involves the removal of excess skin around the breasts, tightening and lifting with excellent results.

As our bodies age, skin loses its natural firmness and elasticity. This leads to wrinkles and sagging skin in various areas of the body, not least around the breasts which naturally hang down, stretching the skin.

A breast lift is a simple procedure designed to reverse this process, giving the chest a younger, perkier appearance. There are many factors which drive women to inquire about breast lifts and breast lift prices in Australia. Some women have experienced psychological difficulties or reduced confidence due to sagging breasts, while others need a breast lift to better balance their bodies after weight reduction.

Meanwhile, many women simply want a change, a new look, or to reverse the ageing process. Whatever it is that motivates you to make the change, Dr Tavakoli and his team will help you. They have the expertise and experience required to get the great results you need.

The team provides in-depth consultation and assessment, free of charge, to help you better understand the process. As well of being free of charge, the consultation is also free from obligation.

Breast Lift Costs vs Breast Augmentation Costs

Breast lift procedures are often discussed alongside breast augmentation and breast implant procedures, although, in reality, the two types of surgery are very different.

During breast augmentation surgery, the physical size of the breast is changed through the use of an implant. On the other hand, whilst a breast lift requires no implant, it does require the breast to be opened, excision of skin, realignment and manipulation of the breast tissue. It is a far more invasive procedure. and is a far less invasive procedure. As a result, the breast lift price tends to be much higher then that of a breast augmentation. In essence, a breast lift is more like a breast reduction, in that it involves the removal of excess tissue. However, during a breast lift operation, it is only excess skin which is removed, and the size of the breast is not altered.

A breast lift procedure may accompany an augmentation or reduction. We can discuss this with you during your consultation. Get in touch today to get started.
