Dr Tavakoli discusses changing a breast implant’s pocket.

Up until 10 years ago, the trend was to place a breast implant on top of the pectoralis muscle (subglandular pocket). The current trend is to place the implant behind the muscle (dual pocket placement), which has improved the outlook of breast augmentation mammoplasty surgery.

Dr Tavakoli discusses the challenges of changing the implant pocket, and how these challenges can be approached.
