The quick guide to Blepharoplasty recovery times

If you’re considering undergoing Blepharoplasty, you might be wondering how much time to set aside before you can get back to your daily routine.

Dr Tavakoli’s team has prepared this quick guide to give you an idea of what to expect.

Immediately after blepharoplasty surgery:

You may feel some discomfort or pain – this is normal and may continue for the first 2 weeks.

Week 1:

Take it easy and stick to gentle daily activities.

Week 2:

Stick to light walking. You should be able to resume most household duties.

Weeks 3 to 6:

After 3 weeks you can usually start driving, commence light exercises and start walking on a treadmill.

Weeks 8 to 12:

After 8 weeks you can start exercises involving weights, go swimming, and start light jogging.

This is just a quick guide, so it’s always best to check with your doctor and follow their advice!
